However, the institute maintains its commitment to the development of hospital research.<\/p>\r\n 2004<\/p>\r\n IPH helps to organize the 24th<\/sup> International Seminar, hosted by the Public Health Group of the International Union of Architects \u2013 UIA-PHG, held in Brazil.<\/p>\r\n 2001<\/p>\r\n Launching of IPH Journal, replacing the prestigious Hospital de Hoje<\/em> Magazine but maintaining the same vision and goal of providing information to healthcare professionals and being IPH\u2019s official means of communication.<\/p>\r\n 1980s and 1990s<\/p>\r\n From 1980 to 2000, the institute focuses solely on running IPH College of Hospital Administration.<\/p>\r\n 1970s<\/p>\r\n 1978-1979<\/p>\r\n Through its research branch, IPH becomes a member of the Standardization Commissions of the Brazilian National Standardization Forum (ABNT).<\/p>\r\n 1977<\/p>\r\n IPH opens its first headquarters on Duquesa de Goi\u00e1s Avenue, 262, in association with AHESP.<\/p>\r\n 1975<\/p>\r\n IPH teaches an Intensive Care Nursing Practitioner Specialization Course at Matarazzo Hospital, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\r\n 1974<\/p>\r\n In response to an invitation made by the Institute for Technological Research of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo (University of S\u00e3o Paulo), Jarbas Karman and Jayme Rosembojn are named IPH representatives in matters regarding the research of hospital and medical material.<\/p>\r\n 1973<\/p>\r\n IPH receives the certification to open the first College of Hospital Administration in Latin America, running it until 2007. At first, the college is established in S\u00e3o Camilo Benefit Society\u2019s building, offering regular courses in the areas of Hospital Administration, and Business, besides post-graduation and extracurricular courses.
