The presentation "The Entrance of Foreigner Investment to Finance Health Service Supply and the Market in Brazil" discussed based on the Brazilian Law Number 13.097/15 some issues regarding this topic. Considering the increasing globalization, capital flow and workforce, the increase of tourism - including among doctors - the entrance of foreigner investment in health services is part of this system. Considering that there are few supporting studies and scarce empiric evaluations of the consequence of the IED, it was shown how it was developed in India and what is possible to translate into the Brazilian case. It was pointed out the need for more research, more data and more debates in the area.
