Summary: How Should Hospitals Be Prepared to Handle the Entrance of Foreigner Investment? (2) Marcos Boscolo
The lecture "How Should Hospitals Be Prepared to Handle the Entrance of Foreigner Investment?" proposed four steps to handle the matter of capital investment: (1) establish positioning, (2) face it, (3) team up and (4) be different. Therefore, some actions were proposed: establishing positioning; investing in the qualification of the workforce (managers and clinical body); investing in systems that generate opportune and trustworthy information; investing in corporative governance; investing in financial management (search for profits, reducing costs and expenses, new products, alliances, patrimonial management, among others); creating a strategic plan in the short, medium and long run aiming at the positioning of the entity; rectify matters concerning taxes, labor rights, finances etc.; having audited financial statements (it is obligatory for big companies) and going after external help for specialized consultancies.
