Summary: A Culture towards Safety (2) Paulo Henrique de Oliveira
The presentation concerning the Culture towards Safety at the Rede São Camilo showed the research undertaken. Their goals were to survey the perception of patient safety for the entire staff; to make the team recognize the importance of a safe management to assist the patient; to establish/strengthen the culture towards safety via actions of improvement and safety; to encourage the discussion of concepts related to the patient safety and prevent recurrences. Finally, to integrate the concept of a Just Culture to the movement. The method used was based on the AHRQ model brought by Fiocruz (2013). The twelve dimensions evaluated were presented, as well as the external comparative from the years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Among the actions of improvement, we highlight staff size adjustment, review of the pharmacy service and the effective management of risks and feedback of actions, encouragement of participative management, communication actions, among many others.
