The lecture "The Experience behind Setting up a New Management Model in a Cooperative of Medical Services" presented the case of Unimed São Carlos' structure of cooperative. The main challenges faced were: transparency; communication; creation of the new organizational culture; the plan behind choosing professionals; ability in gathering managers; professionals' performances follow-up; planning structure changes etc. They had positive results, especially concerning the increase of credibility, the plummeting of conflicts, more partners satisfied, better results concerning proper negotiations, among others.
