The presentation "Transparency and Contact with Patient's Safety - the Patient's viewpoint" discussed the matter of safety concerning different health treatments from the point of view of the patient. Anvisa, through a legal disposition, assures good practices for health services, guaranteeing the public's participation enabling mobilization and education actions towards health. The active participation of the patient when treating chronic-degenerative diseases is fundamental for his or her better quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to an approach that is based on an educational and awareness process.
