The panel "How can Hospitals and Health Insurance Companies Build a Positive Agenda aiming at Sustainable Supplementary Health in an Unfavorable Economic Environment?" discussed the sustainability issue within the supplementary health considering the economic feasibility of the resource austerity and the reformulation of the aid model; considering that the focus of this discussion has its core in the relationship between partners, which means, stronger partnerships. In this context, some considerations were presented, such as: to discover each patient?s real needs, to undertake custom-made negotiations, to develop products with the help of the patient, to make the system feasible, to save resources, more than rethinking the payment model, we must think of a new model to provide aid.
