Luiz Fernando Sampaio Rolim
The lecture "Integrality and Patient's Safety: the Unimed's experience in BH? presented the experience of a health cooperative. Considering the Model of Health Attention, the patient's safety is understood as a performance that handles risk management constantly. The management of key-factors to integrate segmented systems is possible due to the reinforcement of APS systemic principles, clinical integration and management; increase of hospital services productivity with technological knowledge; information systems efficiency and the relocation of financial incentives, with payments surpassing procedures. The Patient's Safety Plan leads to the Construction of strategies to minimize risks. The strategies are: promoting health, preventing diseases, managing diseases and managing chronic cases. The quality of care and the patient's safety can be improved with health promotion groups, lectures and group therapy. With the Modelo Unimed Pleno, ER appointments went from 34% to 19% with expressive improvement in service.
