Summary: Safety in Auto Events Mario Lúcio A. Baptista Filho

The lecture "Safety in Auto Events" presented the healthcare structure set up for auto events in Brazil. The medical strategy has three phases that aim at reducing the period between the trauma and the treatment, giving support and not adding injuries to the already existent ones. The medical staff embraces Chief Doctor, Assistant to the Chief Doctor, Supervisor Doctor of the Track, specialty staff of the racetrack's medical center and the rearguard specialty staff (Hospital Bandeirantes e Hospital Leforte). The lecturer also presented the racetrack's and reference hospitals' structures. The structure set up guarantees the chance of survival of those injured in the track.
