Summary: Safety in Anesthetic Procedures Enis Donizeti Silva

The lecture "Safety in Anesthetic Procedures" presented the experience of the Hospital Sírio-Libanês' Safety Anesthesia Program, which lists ten steps towards the Indicators for the Safety Anesthesia Program. The lecturer also showed how the Rapid Response Team (Time de Resposta Rápida - TRRs) was implemented, including the training and criteria to triggering it. After 19 months of the implementation of the Rapid Response Teams, 67 lives were saved. It is important to stress the need of a technical training for the anesthesiologist using anesthesia simulation assuring better learning.
