The central theme of the lecture discusses a survey conducted at the end of the Post-Doctoral Program in Business Administration at Florida Christian University - FCU, in the United States, and presents a study on the skills required from managers of health organizations, in order to facilitate training and development of people in the care of patients with humanization.
The research demonstrates the entrepreneurial vision that strengthens the modern concept of leadership and management that seeks to provide conditions to integrate people and units.
As a result, the degree of motivation and commitment of employees makes a more agile and efficient organization.
The study analyzed the models of existing skills in customer service, researching the times when people are interacting with the hospital.
The research involves the following universe and sample:
a) Three hospitals located in São Paulo, where they interviewed three managers using skills such as working methods and observing the humanization as "mirror" for the establishment of a good humane care;
b) The manager of a US nursing home;c) The management of a nursing home in the city of São Paulo;d) The management of a Home Care company;e) The Legal Counsel of the National Fund of Resources of the Ministry of Health of Uruguay;f) A nurse manager of the National Fund for Resources of the Ministry of Health of Uruguay;g) A patient (Nurse) with newly high in São Pauloh) A consultant of Hospital Hospitality area.
The methodology used was exploratory and qualitative research, with collection of testimonials and it was concluded that the mission, vision and objectives of the institution need to be aligned with the skills required in the hiring of employees. Thus, the behavior change process becomes easier. The statement from the patient interviewed "Humanization is as important and necessary as the remedies and is only possible through these people, the set of all of them" brings us to the reflection that we need very little for decent and humane care.
The result of the research generated the book "Competências de gestores no processo de humanização em saúde", published in 2015 by Editora Laços.
